Programme Overview
UCD Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School in partnership with Bord Bia will deliver the Bord Bia Marketing Fellowship Programme (MSc International Marketing Practice).
Successful candidates will undertake exciting international placements across Bord Bia's global office network while gaining an internationally recognised Masters. There are approximately 20 - 23 places available on this programme.

Programme Structure
This 18-month programme blends a programme of in-class/online modules with in-market overseas business development learning assignments. There is a strong emphasis on professional and career development along with food industry export development training.
While on your in-market learning assignment placement you will be assigned to approximately three of Bord Bia’s high growth potential Irish food, drink and horticulture clients. Some of the key assignment activities include:
- Delivering results for clients on specific in-market business development assignments, in line with defined project objectives and target outcomes
- Developing sector/product/market intelligence for the benefit of clients, for Bord Bia and the sector/market in which they operate
- Acting as an Ambassador for Bord Bia and the Irish food, drink and horticulture sector through effective performance as a Fellow
Marketing Fellows receive
- Fully funded Master’s (MSc International Marketing Practice) with modules delivered by the world’s leading experts from business schools such as Harvard, IMD, NYU Stern and UCD Smurfit
- Placements for approximately 15 months in locations such as: London, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Dusseldorf, Stockholm, Shanghai, Tokyo, Singapore, Dubai, Amsterdam, Australia, India and Nigeria (exact locations to be confirmed and are subject to change)
- Generous tax free bursary as a contribution towards living costs (€39,300 - €45,000 per 18 months (exact amount TBC)), in addition to all tuition fees, flights and laptop

- An amazing career development experience with almost all fellows staying on in excellent food industry roles on programme completion
